Holmes, Alice (Marriage - 30 Nov. 1933)
Alice Holmes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holmes, and Mr. Roscoe Meacham, son of Mrs. Mary Meacham, were married Thursday, Nov. 30, at the home of the bride’s parents, Rev. Peter Holmes reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Harvey Meacham acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Harvey Meacham. The marriage took place in candle light under an archway of evergreens. Following the ceremony, a three course dinner was served.
The bride was attired in a dress of brown wool flat crepe with brown accessories. The bridesmaid wore a dress of brown flat crepe. The newlyweds will make their home at Spencer, Wis., where the groom is engaged in farming.
